New Dentist Now debuts new look

By | August 5, 2022

The U.S. Coast Guard is celebrating its 232nd birthday on Aug. 4, and in honor of the milestone, the ADA’s New Dentist Now blog has undergone a makeover.

OK. The two have nothing to do with one another.

But it is true that New Dentist Now has a fresh new look.

Brought to you by the ADA’s New Dentist Committee, New Dentist Now features resources for new dentists and dental students as well as news and insight on the dental profession and beyond.

From managing student debt, navigating employment contracts and acquiring a practice to avoiding burnout, seeking licensure mobility and choosing a career path, the goal of the New Dentist Now is to be the go-to place for new dentists seeking to learn from new dentists on what challenges they can expect after graduation and what they can do.

Contributors must be ADA member dentists who graduated from dental school fewer than 10 years ago. New dentists from various fields in dentistry — from associates and practice owners to general dentists and specialists and working in public health and the military — are welcome to contribute. For more information, contact newdentist@ada.org.
