A group of 17 general practice residency students from various programs in Chicago visited the ADA Headquarters June 2 to learn more about dental benefits and practice management.
The attendees are residents from the Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Loyola University Medical Center and Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
The program included a building tour, a presentation on managing complex issues with third party payers by Dr. Dave Preble, vice president of the Practice Institute at the American Dental Association, and Drs. Sam Willens, Olivia Lares and Mital Spatz, all 2011 GPR graduates, participated in a panel discussion on key opportunities and challenges following the completion of a GPR Program.
