Denver — The ADA Foundation provided a $5,000 grant to kickstart a campaign to help rebuild a medical and dental clinic in Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai’s home province of Shangla, Pakistan. The donation was made immediately after Ms. Yousafzai spoke at ADA 2016 – America’s Dental Meeting.

Section 2 - MalalaADA 2016 attendees interested in supporting the Shangla Clinic Project with a $25 donation can text the word “clinic” to 50555. Message and data rates may apply. The $25 will be sent to the Foundation, which will collect cash and in-kind donations from individuals and dental organizations and provide them to a clinic development team in Pakistan. You can also make a donation in person if you are attending ADA 2016 at the ADA Foundation Booth 3408 or by visiting ADAFoundation.org.

Those who use text-to-donate will receive a text from the ADA Foundation asking for their name in order to receive a donation acknowledgment letter.
